Hall is an industry leader in delivering civil infrastructure for canal estates from concept to completion.

We have built strong relationships with developers, exemplified by our long-standing partnership with the award-winning Pelican Waters developer. Hall has been the sole contractor for the Sunshine Coast development since 1990, delivering more than 2,800 lots, two locks and weirs, one salinity exchange system, more than 10km of canals and more than 12 bridges for the popular community.

The team also possesses the capabilities to work in low-lying and waterfront areas while responsibly managing acid sulfate soils.

Our capabilities in this area include:

• CANAL & LAKE EXCAVATION
  We have the necessary skills and equipment to undertake bulk excavation of canals and lakes.
• LOCK & WEIR CONSTRUCTION
  Hall has extensive experience in delivering locks and weirs, including installing floating pontoons, pump stations, salinity intake structures and jetties.
• ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
  Hall has extensive experience in delivering canal and waterfront estates in areas with environmental constraints including marine clays and soft clays, acid sulfate soils, high water tables, marine vegetation and strict water quality requirements.
• BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION
  We are experienced in delivering road, pedestrian and cycle bridges, and are capable of undertaking precast and concrete cast in-situ bridge builds.
