Constructing canals and a marina for a major residential estate
Hall Contracting has been the principal contractor for the award-winning Pelican Waters canal estate since 1990.
During this time, Hall has completed a range of works for this major community development including constructing:
- canals;
- a marina;
- pre-stressed concrete bridge and timber bridges;
- mechanical lock and weir systems; and
- canal revetment walls.
Hall delivered the infrastructure while managing various constraints including marine clays, acid sulfate soils, and a high groundwater table.
