With the Nambour community garden haven fallen into disrepair and facing being decommissioned, Hall Contracting joined forces with Sunshine Coast green thumbs to revitalise the space and create a flourishing new community hub called Nambour Grown.
Our team donated array of plants and tools such as shovels, garden forks, wheelbarrows and rakes, and contributed funding for a 12-month program of workshops to teach community members about waste minimisation, organic gardening and other sustainable practices.
The donated funds also enabled Nambour Grown to purchase raised garden beds, proving opportunities for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues to get involved with the community garden.
Hall is proud to have played a role in creating an inclusive space on the Sunshine Coast where people from all walks of life can come together to build social connections and learn valuable skills.
