Hall established a $5,000 scholarship in 2009 for full-time University of the Sunshine Coast students undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours).
The annual scholarship – established in honour of Hall Contracting founders Les and Mary Hall – is paid in instalments throughout each recipients’ four-year degree.
The initiative aims to assist aspiring engineers to pursue tertiary education when it may not have otherwise been possible. It also creates career pathways for Sunshine Coast youth, with many scholarship recipients having gone on to secure employment at Hall Contracting.
