Maintenance dredging at the Molongle Creek access channel

The Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads engaged Hall Contracting to undertake dredging at the Molongle Creek boat ramp access channel.

The scope of works included widening the channel to 20m and deepening it to -2m LAT.

Hall’s cutter suction dredge, Mabuiag, removed approximately 120,000m³ of material and with the project complete, boat users now enjoy all-tide access to Cape Upstart and offshore waters.
