Hall was contracted to deliver safety upgrades to the zoned earth embankment dam wall at Ewen Maddock Dam as part of Seqwater’s Dam Improvement Program.
The project included constructing a reinforced concrete wall along the crest of the dam to increase the floodwater capacity, as well as installing six gravity-based siphons – some of the largest temporary siphons in Australia.
The team was also tasked with upgrading the existing recreational park area by improving the shelters and barbeque facilities, as well as installing new footpaths and landscaping.
