Hall Contracting has been the principal contractor for the award-winning Pelican Waters canal estate since 1990.
More than half of the 3,500 allotments have been constructed to date, with Hall delivering:
· Bulk earthworks
· Dredging
· Construction of an 18-hole Greg Norman designed championship golf course
· Pre-stressed concrete bridge
· Timber bridges
· Mechanical lock and weir structures
· Canal revetment walls
· Major trunk main infrastructure for sewer, water and roads
· All sub-divisional works
Upon completion, Pelican Waters will have a population of approximately 12,000 and will be a suburb in its own right.
Throughout the project Hall Contracting has managed many and varied constraints including marine clays, acid sulphate soils, high ground water and sensitive marine environments.
