The project involved excavating a large lake in the Maroochy River flood plain and installing concrete-lined drains, a 425mm-diameter trunk sewer main, and a 20-cell culvert structure.
The team successfully managed acid sulfate soils in a wet flood plain environment using strict erosion and sediment control measures.
