Hall Contracting was engaged by the Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Ltd (BAC) to deliver AIP Stage 1 services. This included a roadworks package servicing the NIOA warehouse and Brisbane Airport ‘Pet Precinct’, as well as alternatives for the future development of the Airport Industrial Park.
Utility works included the installation of gravity and rising sewer mains, water mains, street lighting, HV power and fibre optics. A new pump station, two substations and road works were installed at the new Pet Precinct intersection.
The works delivered were extensive, many of which are critical to the operation of the airport and other ancillary services. As construction was completed alongside an open road, full traffic control measures were required.
