With Mount Martha Beach North on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula heavily impacted by severe weather events and erosion, members of the Hall team undertook beach renourishment works on behalf of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).
The project involved dredging and spreading 25,000m3 of sand along the Mount Martha foreshore.
Cutter suction dredge Warraber was used to dredge sand from Port Phillip Bay, and the crew assembled 900 lineal metres of pipeline to pump the material ashore.
The works have successfully protected the region's iconic bathing boxings, which line the Mount Martha cliff face.
